Our Vision: "To become the essential focus for the Salem County business community by continuing to promote commerical, industrial and agricultural growth through great leadership and networking."
A message from the Salem County Chamber of Commerce's 2013 Chair of the Board.
Dear Chamber Members: It is certainly an honor for me to serve as Chair of the Salem County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors this year. As a member of the Business Education Committee and the Board of Directors for the past several years, I truly appreciate all that the Chamber offers and will work hard during my Chairmanship to maximize the value of your Chamber membership. Since the Chamber was formed in 1943, much has changed in how and what we deliver, but one thing remains the same – it’s the Members that make the Chamber what it is and all that it can be. We have so much to offer each other by sharing our experiences and ideas, especially during these challenging economic times. The Chamber’s initiatives allow us to network and build relationships, to become more knowledgeable about relevant business topics, to stay abreast of important governmental issues, to collaborate and exchange ideas, and to promote and showcase our Member businesses. The Chamber staff, committees and Board work collaboratively to develop and implement benefits that reflect the needs of our Member businesses. From the Ambassadors to the Government Relations Committee, you will find volunteers from organizations of every size and every corner of the County, sharing ideas and serving to enhance your Member experience. Ultimately, what makes the Chamber great is Member participation. I invite you to visit the Chamber website at www.salemcountychamber.com to learn more about the events, the committees and services. I encourage you to maximize the value of your Chamber Membership by attending the Second Friday Workshops and the networking events that are held throughout the year. All of the various offerings of the Chamber are enriched by the participation, input and feedback from the Membership. Please help us improve by getting involved and letting us know what you think. 2013 finds us 400 Members strong – with plans to attract many more businesses to the organization as the year progresses. Please join us in our mission to build relationships… to make Salem County the premier place to live, work and conduct business.
Sincerely,
Christina Humphreys Chair of the Board 2013
